Prevention

SKOUN’s target is to help change personal, social, and environmental factors that can contribute to delaying or avoiding the onset of drug use, and/or to avoiding drug use becoming problematic. SKOUN is enhancing awareness of addictions in Lebanese society, and provides scientific and reliable information about the different substances and the risks in using and abusing them. SKOUN’s main target is youth. The prevention campaigns involve educational institutions, families, and the community at large.
Listening to people and giving advice and orientation are a priority.
