   universities and communities.
• Translation and publication of reference books in Arabic.
• Information and awareness seminars in universities, local communities, and prisons.
• Creation of an integrated drug prevention curriculum for schools elementary to    secondary.
• Work with policy makers to design a governmental prevention framework.
• Involve the community in prevention and awareness efforts,
   private businesses and public figures.

Information

Our major concern is the lack of information about substance abuse that has been noticed among the general public in Lebanon. The more information we have, the more efficient our awareness campaigns and treatment can be.

Services we offer:

• Free access library: reference work on substances, treatment, epidemiology studies    and research in the addictions field.
• Internet access: with information on the centres and services for addictions in    Lebanon and the Middle East, as well as a selection of information sites available on    the web.
• Information seminars and training workshops for the staff of SKOUN open to all other    professionals working in the field of addictions.
