Despite the amendment of the law of 1998, drug users are still too often considered criminals, in Lebanon. The important issues in the next few years are to ensure protection and appropriate treatment, as well as restudying the actual laws by taking into consideration the scientific and social evolution of today’s society.

Social reintegration

Reintegrating Lebanese society when you are a drug user is a complex process; many users are rejected by their families and socially marginalized. More has to be done today to help them find a job and reintegrate society.

      • Professional skills workshops
      • Job placement
