Vision
SKOUN evolves through the expansion of its activities and by becoming a reference on addictions. SKOUN helps support recovery in the lives of individuals, families and communities affected by drug dependency and related diseases. We are accomplishing this through recovery services, education, publishing and research.
SKOUN is progressively setting up an active national and regional network of professionals in the field of addictions for information exchange and referral purposes. In Lebanon, premises will be established around the country, with a network involving local communities, the public health sector, law enforcement, family doctors and other practitioners, pharmacists, lawyers, and social workers.
As a result, SKOUN plans to become a major participant in the efforts
being taken to change the situation of drug addicts in the Arab world
today, by influencing governmental policies with regards to education,
health care and social laws.
